The Warsaw Health Innovation Hub (WHIH) is a joint project of the Medical Research Agency and entities from the medicine, pharmacy and biotechnology sectors, coordinated by the MRA Department of Innovation and Biotechnology Development.
The goals of WHIH are primarily to support initiatives in the strategic areas of pharmaceutical innovation, medical technologies and medical devices as well as IT solutions in health. Everything to improve the health of patients and increase the innovation and efficiency of the Polish health care system.
As part of the WHIH platform, economic, medical and scientific entities will cooperate to strengthen the role of Poland as a place for creating medical innovations. The basis will be the exchange of experience and knowledge to transform ideas into products, processes and services supporting the Polish healthcare system as quickly as possible.
Thank you for inviting us to the Warsaw Health Innovation Hub. We hope that thanks to this we will be able to co-create a stimulating environment that will be the basis for projects responding to the urgent needs of the health care system in Poland. We believe that such a platform focusing on synergistic solutions will be a good complement to other programs supporting the development of Polish medical biotechnology. – comments Dr. Filip Jeleń, President of the Management Board of Pure Biologics S.A.
President of MRA, Dr. hab. med. Radosław Sierpiński emphasized – Warsaw Health Innovation Hub currently brings together 17 companies. Signing an agreement with Pure Biologics S.A. is particularly important as it is another Polish company joining WHIH. Pure Biologics has extensive biotechnology and business base. I believe that the WHIH platform will enable it to exchange experiences and scientific knowledge with other Partners, which will translate into the quality of projects created under the WHIH umbrella.
